Somaliland Police arrests a 36 year old who claimed Silanyo is his father Hargeysa {Sunatimes} A 36 years old man who claimed that Somaliland president Ahmed Mohamed Silanyo is his real father is in the Jail of Somaliland criminal investigation division for the second week, Somaliland Police chief Abdillahi Fadel Iman confirmed to Waagacusub.com. He declined to give any further comments on why he was imprisoned. The detainee who described his name as Mohamed Ahmed Sillaanyo said that his mom told him when he was 11 years old that Siilaanyo is his real father. Mohamed asked for DNA test which he said will wipe out any doubts about that Silanyo is his biological father. When the Somaliland police in Hargeisa was arresting him two weeks ago, Mohamed was lauding "Silanyo is my father, you can see how we look like each other and no body can separate us besides age, it is unfair for my father to deny me for the sake of aunt Amina Waris, i would rather die instead of staying in this world any more years with out a father". Reports in Hargeisa said his arrest was ordered by Aamina Waris Sheikh Mohamed Jirde, Silanyo's wife and the first lady of Somaliland. Insider Sources said that Silanyo has actually fathered Mohamed in late 70s with unknown girlfriend. They also said the first lady was very jealous for Mohamed's mother and that may be encouraging him to deny that he fathered him. Other sourced said that the President used to pay his bills for a long time before he recently stopped. No Body knows why things changed now.
